College and Career Readiness Pathway Program

Enrollment requires a placement test to reserve your space. First come, first serve!

Basic academic, English as a Second Language and study skills to successfully transition to academic and career technical education studies at a community college or to gainful employment.

Students will:

  • Progress through a sequence of leveled classes.
  • Develop academic skills in the context of college and career readiness.
  • Receive guidance and support in transitioning to a community college.

GED Program

Didn’t Graduate? Consider the GED Program!

  • GED is considered equivalent to a high school diploma and is recognized by all states and countries internationally.
  • GED preparation courses and testing in English and Spanish.
  • Morning and evening courses.

Requirements: 18 years of age or older to enroll.

Computer Family Literacy Program

Are you a Parent of an OUSD student and want to use technology to help your child? Consider the Computer Family Literacy Program!

  • Parents will develop technology skills to impact the academic success of their children.
  • Skills include helping their children to use the school’s based reading programs at home, finding online school/education resources, and internet safety.

Requirements: Must have children attending a school within OUSD.
Baby-sitting: Available for 2-5 year old, non-school aged children.


ELS Family Literacy Program for all OUSD Parents

Are you a parent of an OUSD student and want to improve your English skills? Consider the ESL Family Literacy Program for all OUSD parents!

  • Family literacy classes provide English as a Second Language (ESL) academic and literacy instruction to parents at their children’s school.
  • Parents learn to communicate with school staff and develop academic language skills to become more involved in their children’s learning.

Requirements: Must have children attending a school within OUSD.
Baby-sitting: Available for 2-5 year old, non-school aged children.
