The African American Legacy Preaching Series features compelling interviews with powerhouse preachers, including Rev. Dr. Alvin C. Bernstine, Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, California, in conversation with Dr. Frank A. Thomas, Director of the Compelling Preaching Initiative.

The series showcases conversations with some of the most prolific and recognizable preachers in the United States, creating a growing archive of important voices and valuable homiletical insights in the African American preaching tradition.

Episodes are hosted by Dr. Thomas, Dr. Courtney V. Buggs (Director of the PhD in African American Preaching and Sacred Rhetoric), and Drs. Jennifer Carner and Eugene L. Gibson, Jr., instructors and graduates of the PhD Program.
